SNSF Ambizione Fellowship approved

Since November 2022, I joined the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zurich as an SNF Ambizione fellow to kick-off my project on: Ecological fluid dynamics for habitat creation in river systems

9th Gerhard Jirka Summer School of Environmental Fluid Mechanics (GJSS)

I am excited to be involved as a Lecturer during this years’ GJSS. The GJSS will be held in Dresden (Germany) from August 28th to September 1st 2023, i.e., the week right after the IAHR World Congress in Vienna. KIT International Excellence Fellowship

From May to July 2022, I had the pleasure to visit the Institute of Water and River Basin Management – Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management at KIT in the frame of an International Excellence Fellowship with Prof. Mário Franca has the faculty host. Special Issue on Benefits and Challenges of Large Wood in Fluvial Ecosystems

Together with Elizabeth Follett (Cardiff University) and Brian Crookston (Utah State University), I serve as a guest editor for the Special Issue on the benefits and challenges of large wood in fluvial ecosystems in the Journal of Coastal and Hydraulic Structures .
